It's that time of year again! I hope everyone is ready for a Mage's Conclave.

This one will take place on a single day, Sunday, September 3rd.

What is a Mage's Conclave?

It's a gathering of Magi to share their research on the magical world around us, debate, and prepare for the future of the magical world.

This up and coming Conclave will be hosted by Ekaterina Renderra, a water mage and master of divination. The location is still being decided on.

In the wake of the first (and hopefully last) Great Magical war and the Aren Civil War, Magi fighting with eachother has become all too common. This is a time to come together peacefully. Until the Tourney, that is.

Tourney Details

There is not just one combat competition this year!

Apprentice's Challenge

A large product of magical masters designed to fight magic apprentices (users of spells equivalent to blast or below) will be released into an arena. The team of Apprentices must work together to stay in the ring!

The Construct will be a product of divination, enchantment, combat magic, summoning, and runecrafting. It is designed to be a hard challenge, with surviving apprentices who defeat it within the time limit being permitted to the Battle Royale.

- There is a one hour time limit to the Apprentice Challenge.


Master's Battle Royale:

Fighters will be subjected to a changing stage, where only true magical masters will fight. Death is prevented, and just about anything goes.

The winners will be decided based off how long they survive, and how many KOs they achieve.

Winners will recieve a cash prize and high powered magical equipment, as well as a statue to immortalize them. Just enterring awards an entry prize of an Oog'log spa coupon.

Rules:
- No Necromancy. Not that it is possible, given a lack of dead bodies.
- Wards will prevent death and unrecoverable injury from occuring.
- Ancient Magic IS allowed.
- Prizes will be awarded to the last standing, and person with the most KO's. In a case where both titles are not held by the same person, and time permits, a duel will start for an overall winner. However, both will go home with prizes.
- There is a two-hour timelimit to the Royale.
- The Arena will have all four base elements present.
- Finally, as an OOC rule, Nat and appointed people will settle disputes between fighters.
