Normally i'm not really one to express my own opinions of something on a forum, though i couldn't really help myself this time,sorry!

There's only a couple points i feel uh, inclined to make, a single one actually! And that would be in relation to the state of the world, since its practically dead during my free time (woo!) I had thought of this for a wile now,whats stopping anyone from advertising their roleply groups to people off w42, i mean,its how i ended up here what feels like almost...wait, you mean it has been nearly twelve years? Awww F***

My point stands that we're kind of suffering a player drough, while there are plenty of players off w42 that have roleplayed before on forums & sites, d&d, pathfinder, warhammer, etc.

I get that the forum is meant to be an, a place to document and advertise our ideas, but they're horribly inactive, especially amongst newer players! So my suggestion is pretty simple; try advertising to different groups on and off w42, not every clan or group of friends is full of their shit (as i am), hell, it may just spark interest in w42 again!

You've been here for longer and probably like W42 due to a good chunk of the nostalgia that's around it. People off W42, to call them for now, are not at all interested in Runescape like you and I are. It's not appealing to people wanting to get into roleplay on RS specifically because of how other MMORPG's are simply more appealing in design, gameplay, population and graphics.

Heck, Spart went to the RuneScape Reddit and made a post that's in the same spirit as what you are talking about. He went to the most dedicated to RuneScape chunk on the internet and found out that there was simply no motivation for people to come to W42. This was 3 years ago. Can't think of another big example about off-W42 advertising but it was disheartening to watch it and I fear the same thing will happen to your initiative due to the current state of RuneScape as a game.

I believe some things can be done for W42 to become ‘better’ and I think this thought of yours is optimistic and nice, but nothing much more. Quickly learn how to Roleplay on RuneScape!

Haven't people like RiDaku and Dion Magnan done that already?

Look how that turned out; I'm sure mindless drones worshiping conceited no-lifers running around in droves is pretty low on peoples' list of ideas to bring back rp.

Pull your head out of your ass for at least a moment so you can realize that there aren't any off-worlders that I've recruited actually getting involved in RP. Partially because they've got no interest in having to interact with people like you, and partially because if they were at all interested in roleplay, I would have found and recruited them on World 42. The roleplayers in my clan came from our fucking world, meanwhile the clan that you'll notice isn't directly attached to any sort of group or land is primarily focused on gameplay. I'm not paying people to roleplay, I'm not using them as extra bodies in a pile.
