Intro

Volcanic ash covers the higher slopes, broken in places by the vivid scars of impact craters. Pools of molten mock glow brightly in the dusk, casting a fierce light on a lone figure. The man casually walks along the bank of one of the pools of liquid fire. Occasionally he sticks a hand out over the lava, as if to warm it and a strange red glow is seen over the heavy metal gauntlets he wears.

“Yes,” he says. “This will do.”

As he makes his way round the next bend in this stream of lava, he comes across some company. Three guards, dressed in poorly fitting armor, sweating heavily in the heat of the volcano; though the temperature in the rest of Karamja is little better. To give them their due, the KDF soldiers react quickly and as their training demands draw weapons without stopping to ask a single question. The man is pleased; he was in no mood to talk.

He draws a shining sword wreathed in flames and launches his attack. The first guard blocks his initial swing much to his own delight but it is merely a tactic to leave him open to the second attack, which slices through his leg just above the knee. This move takes the attacker low and under the charging attack of the second guard. Unfortunate; his sword hand is severed at the wrist before he can adjust to make a second strike. The final guard manages a single cry for help before he meets the enemy. Their blades meet briefly, pushing against each other in a test of strength but the aggressor goes for a kick that knocks him on his back. A single downwards stab ends the contest.

But the guard’s cry has alerted the rest of his unit, who are just beyond the next rise. As Lord Pyro strides out to meet them he seems unconcerned with their strength in numbers. Professional to the last, they gather into a tight knit formation, weapons ready and eager to deal with the foe. The Lord of Fire raises a single outstretched arm to greet them and the lava rises from its pool in response. Too late do they see their peril as the wave of burning death crashes over them.Some stragglers and scouts attempt to flee but the flames have been commanded to slay them all. And whether by the blade or the fireball or the molten rock they fall to the last man.

Alone amongst the dead the Lord of Fire considers his next move carefully. Karamja Volcano will become his new seat of power for the time being.A fitting place for his new enterprise, both in its volcanic nature and its position. The Ash Legion will soon launch a crusade against all those weak enough to need to enslave others to their will. The Pirates and Slavers, the Mercenaries and Thugs would all come to fear the burning crusade. Lord Pyro snapped his fingers and his entourage swiftly materialized around him, drone soldiers and workers in jet black armor and his acolyte pyromancers in crimson robes.

Let the revolution begin.

So basically, given that Karamja is totally and completely inactive I am claiming Karamja Volcano for my new RP based around all things fire related. Any future roleplays with that group or members of it will require acceptance of that reality.

This group will serve as a school for advanced fire magic and combat RP against its enemies (if other people get active enough to be enemies). "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

The Ash Legion

The Ash Legion encompasses all units, agents, management and resources used in the Burning Crusade designed to wipe out all injustice on Gielinor. The structure of the Legion is as follows:

The Ash Council

The leaders of the Legion, responsible for its decisions such as who to target and at what time and all strategical, tactical and diplomatic considerations. It is widely considered to be comprised of some of the most powerful and skilled Pyromancers in the world.

The Flame Lords (Ranks: Flame Lord/Mage/Appretentice)

This unit within the legion contains the bulk of its most powerful pyromancers and other fire mages. Each actual Flame Lord is anointed by Lord Pyro with their own lordship and given control of several apprentices to train and field as their contribution to the overall army. Apprentices are considered to be part of this unit but are not considered ‘Flame Lords’ in their own right until graduation and selection by the council. Graduated apprentices will normally remain assigned to a Flame Lord until selection

The Crimson Knights

The strongest non magical unit within the legion. Valued for their honor, integrity and warrior’s prowess above all else this unit is made up of the select few soldiers chosen to be elevated above the rank and file and knighted. All Crimson Knights are granted flame based weaponry based upon Lord Pyro’s own sword, although these facsimiles lack the power and utility possessed by Defiance.

The Smoldering Horde

‘The dull mass’ as they were originally dubbed by the Zamorak’s Union training sergeant upon seeing them for the first time. The horde makes up the majority of the entire legion and serves as the regular army. That being said, ‘regular’ is the least likely word to be applied to this band of misfits. The Horde is made up of regular soldiers and mercenaries, mages that failed to reach the ranks of the Flame Lords and a plethora of magical creatures that have some association with the element of fire.
