Her Majesty's Government
The
Prime Minister
is, within the privy council, first among equals. The duties and responsibilities of the Prime Minister are chiefly diplomatic, however, such as representing the Queen on her behalf among her vassals and in foreign courts, though they also bear the responsibility of nominating those who would fill the other seats on the council, as well as organizing and mediating meetings between the Queen's councilors.
The
Steward
bears responsibility for the treasury of the Crown. In effect, they enforce the Crown's taxes and direct the distribution of the wealth of the state. The Steward has authority over the Ports of Catherby and Khazard, as well as the Crown's own mercantile and civilian vessels, and any expeditions and ventures made under its banner.
The
Archmage
is the chief enforcer of the Crown's decrees on magic, both advising on law and other such matters concerning the practice of magic in the Kingdom and handling threats magic may pose to it. They are primarily responsible for finding and capturing practitioners of illegal magics, such as necromancy and the "ancient magicks," as well as rogue alchemists, and other such dangerous and malevolent entities.
The
Justice
is the chief of police and is responsible for the enforcement of common law throughout the Kingdom. As a member of Her Majesty's council, the Justice is an advisor on matters concerning crime, policing, and commerce. They are charged with protecting the Queen's roads, finding and apprehending bandits, poachers and slavers, combating organized crime, and defending the Crown's holds and forests, among other things.
The
Admiral
is both a military commander and an enforcer of maritime law, charged with protecting commerce on the sea, finding and apprehending pirates and the like, and defending the Kingdom in times of war. They advise the Queen on matters of seabound commerce and naval defense.
