Spring has come, and with it the advent of rebirth.
The first indication occurs in the dwarven capital city of Keldagrim. Doctor Brindlebar Silverstein preaches a riverside sermon for the people of East. His words inspire; his actions captivate. The sick are made healthy and the crippled whole. The slums come alive with talk of a new power in play. Chontal, he preaches.
God, they cry.
Far to the southwest, Kandarin struggles from within. In the wake of the Mourners collapse and the lifting of the plague quarantine, the people of West Ardougne rebuild the city and their lives. It was through the intervention of the World Guardian that saw the dark elves driven out four years ago. Although many were able to rise above, so much more fell through the cracks and were forgotten.
Four long years of healing, prayer, and renewal were for naught. Healing never came fast enough and prayers remained unanswered. These were the sick, the poor, and the displaced, abandoned both by god and country. Until... she came. She who goes by many names and titles. Her motivations are unclear. However, one thing is certain: she has not forgotten. Beneath her wing the sick are made well, the poor made rich, the homeless given shelter, and the hungry fed. But this woman is not content to stay in one place. She and her flock make for the other human kingdoms.
Deliverance is at hand.
The Wilderness was once the site of many a great battle. By the end of the God Wars, Zamorak saw the region utterly destroyed. Thousands lost their lives, entire cities were reduced to ash, and the land itself irrevocably scarred. The revival of this cursed wasteland seems impossible. Yet life has started to flourish where it hadn't for centuries. Someone or something is restoring the earth by removing the blight so deeply entrenched within it.
The rebirth has begun. "Ptolemos, the friendly, informative Mahjarrat."
