Why is it all members?

I've returned to the game recently, I've joined two three discord groups as well.Some of which tried their hardest to be edgy.

But the common theme is its members only, personally I dont like the massive world of being a member.Theres so much to do and to digest that I find the idea of doing it all over again to be for me.

Is there any non member roleplays? I've looked around for an hour to no avail.Sure I realised that the nonmember roleplay world is dead, hardly anyone is IC there.Yet there must be some hope for me...Right?

Still upset that Im looking at the forums and the latest five posts is members only still.
Am I the only one who thinks its dead because we let it die? I've been out of this game for quite awhile.How does the f2p community even die? Isnt the f2p the majority of the population?

F2P players don't really form that majority anymore for three reasons: (1) the game's population has shrunk overall; (2) for role-players in particular, there are better F2P alternative games to RP on; and (3) players can pay GP for membership through bonds, so there's less of a monetary barrier now between F2P and P2P. I won't argue whom's to blame for W41's death because my presence was next-to nonexistent, but it was a steady and consistent death-spiral.

W42 is currently on its own, refusing to move beyond the current split in the community.
