So for anyone whos a fan of a game called Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild, you shouldve at least heard of this game, Genshin Impact.

It just got released today for IOS, PC and PS4.

Thus i was wondering whats everyones impressions of it so far and does it serve as a "good" clone of BotW?

Nah im sure even the devs have said it is.

Then again, is that really a problem?

I mean you can be a clone of another game and still be good in your own right.

I can clearly see what makes these 2 stand apart and just because it is, doesnt make it any less appealing.

Im sure theres ppl that call rs a "clone" of WoW all the time yet its still doing fine.

The beta was alright. Game looks good, and gameplay is okay. Not a fan of the monetisation. If they simply offered it for a fixed price, instead of Gach/lootbox garbage, then I might have been more interested.

Yea.

So far ive only completed the opening story mission or w/e and got all 4 characters, but its been really fun and love the cb and different weapons and whatnot.

One of my only complaints is that theres no way to heal besides food.

So once you run out of that you seemed to be SOL :/

Coulda sworn I ran in to one somewhere in the early games, IE that first town we walk in to

I just wish thered been at least an inn or something considering its seems to be a fantasy based game.

Plus in most other games theres more than 1 way to heal your characters so limiting it seems rather odd.
