Some people went to buy a vehicle off the A41. Met up with a seller in real life.
They got an unexpected ambush though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= Pb88119HPX0
Highlights some of the dangers of meeting people you've only ever spoken to over the phone / internet for the first time in real life.
How do you approach buying second hand vehicles or doing any exchanges in real life, initially organised via the web / telephone?
And how would you handle an ambush situation?
Personally, if I was in my own vehicle at the time of such a situation I too would try to escape it as quickly and as safely as possible using the vehicle. Trying to escape on foot risks the others catching up with you. I would hope / assume you could not be penalised for any other accidents / reckless driving if you were being chased by someone else. Obviously rapid police assistance would also be summonsed...

We properly carry guns, meet in public places in the day and never go alone. Also don't bring collateral you are afraid to lose - like children.
Assume normal circumstances, but prepare for the worst just in case mentality. Also lower personal risk as much as possible.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

Step 1: Don't pay with cash unless the amount is nominal
Step 2: Conduct the transaction at a safe, surveilled location like a police station parking lot
