I love cats, which is strange for a guy I think. Most guys prefer dogs. I like everything about cats. The way they sneak around, the way they are secretive, their predatory nature, and how they will love you to death.

They are quite selfish and submissive, but I like that about them too.

Don't me wrong, I like dogs too.

Don't me wrong, I like dogs too.

I don't dislike cats, but prefer dogs. Dogs don't paw around in the kitty litter and then jump up on the counter where you prepare food or on the table where you eat. Though I seem to attract cats.

I have a friend who has 4 dogs, 6 cats and a pot belly pig all living in the house. First time I was at her house I was sitting on the sofa and one of the cats jumped on the coffee table, sat there staring at me. It made me a bit uneasy. After a short while the cat jumped down and took a snooze. When the cat woke up he jumped back onto the coffee table and proceeded to stare at me some more. He did that 3 times in the 2 hours I was there.

One my second visit to my friend's house, I sat down on the sofa and the same cat came running from the bedroom, jumped up on my lap, purring, and cuddled in my lap for a nap. My friend said that in the 4 years she has had the cat, he has never cuddled in a stranger's lap. He's very suspicious of everyone and when a visitor comes into the house he runs for the bedroom, never to be seen again until the visitor leaves.

On the third visit, I had all 6 cats huddled around me as if we were long time friends. The dogs didn't seem to care one way or the other, except one who would coming running to me as soon as she heard my voice.

^I know. I was over my friends house a little while ago and we were drinking and this tabby cat came over to me and wouldn't leave me alone all night. I slept on the couch and in the morning it was still stuck to me. I dont know what is up with that but I think they know you like them.
