What's the worst food you've ever bought from a vending machine? Specifically, the ones that dispense "fresh" food like sandwiches and salad.
i just ate some terrible pasta with what i can only assume is ketchup for sauce. not sure if it's as bad as the sketchy meat sandwiches with the chunks of bone and chewy bits or not.
WAAAGH!!!
Oh God you've just reminded me of one of the most revolting things ever happened to me.
I was waiting for a train from Paddington Station, which was badly delayed (of course) and purchased a cheese and tomato sandwich from one of those infernal contraptions.
Took a big bite and commenced chewing, thinking "Hmmm, the skin on this tomato is a bit stringy", unfurled the remaining section of sandwich and saw it to be full of long black hair.
And I mean
a lot
of hair - like you'd get from cleaning out your hairbrush. A big clump.
All wet and slimy from the tomato.

And part of that was in my mouth. IN. MY. MOUTH.
and now i'll actually be checking my sandwiches. this is nightmare fuel.
WAAAGH!!!
I have never purchased vending machine food (except for snacks) and never will. If that's all there is, well, it won't be the first time I've gone without eating for a day or two. I've gotten very stale cookies out of machines. Once I bought a small pack of donuts. The first one tasted a little 'off' and threw it away. The second one wasn't any better and threw it away with the rest of the pack.
Now
I know
I'll never buy a sandwich.

I once made the mistake of getting a vending machine sandwich, and yeah, never again.
It was chicken salad and... I KID YOU NOT... it was carbonated.
I don't know HOW or WHY, but it was definitely FIZZY.
I took one bite, was weirded out, took another bite to confirm my suspicion of a fizzy sandwich, and then tossed it.
You should claim it, patent it and sell a whole line of Fizzy Sandwiches. Instead of it being in sandwich form, bottle it for 'that extra convenience.' The Trend Setters would eat it up (drink it up?). Gives a whole new meaning to the 'liquid lunch' besides being nutritious.

I once had a "Turkey and Gravy Soda" from Jones Soda that I think fits this bill, and it was... AN INTERESTING EXPERIENCE... hahaha.

Fizzy sandwiches? that sounds gross and nasty. I try to avoid buying stuff from vending machines as my luck I'll probably get sick from it or something.
I did once at work by a cola lime pop..it was interesting drinking. XD
