I've always assumed potatoes weren't due to their high carbohydrate content but peas and corn? I'll continue to count them as vegetables and ignore the latest study.
edit to add: I remember being told butter was really bad for us now its not. Then eggs were bad due to having lots of cholesterol but now they say they're good for us.

Honestly I'm surprised that the pea was ever considered to be part of the 5 a day, and spuds nutritional value depends totally on how they're prepared.

lol I have grapes daily as I buy them for my parrots. I eat about 15 or so. Love them.
I eat a lot more peas though.
My diet it good and varied and changes with the seasons. Now Spring is sooooo close I checked my Rhubarb and it's showing signs of growing. Thats another I'll be eating soon.
Everyone is right eat what you like in moderation. Which I do and will do for years till I change my diet again.
Still in shock over a little pea that no longer counts.
I say stuff the advice eat what toy want. No where is that McDonads and Burger King recipie.
