This is a very random topic, but I just started coming across this issue recently, within the last few months.
I have never had this issue before the last few months, but now, for whatever reason, when I try to brush the bottom sides of my back upper molar teeth (only happens with the upper teeth), it triggers this intense gag reflex that makes it pretty much impossible to brush them. It's been a while now that I've been trying to get over it, and I fear that I will end up losing these back molars if I can't get over this.
I've tried distracting myself while brushing, I've tried smaller brushes (have yet to try an electric though), have tried basically every suggestion I've seen online, but for whatever reason, it just instantly makes me feel like gagging. Again, I had never had this issue before the last few months, so I have no idea why this is suddenly a thing.
If anybody has ever had this issue or knows somebody who has, I would love some input/suggestions.
