Possibly best known for his alter-ego, Lily Savage, Paul O'Grady died aged 67 :(

He did in a huge amount of work for animal charities, in particular Battersea Cats & Dogs Home.

One of the kindest, most thoughtful people on TV. Not a person I've followed or watched in a while but remember before moving away I'd watch his show all the time.

Huge animal lover and even insisted that for any role openings on his show, that they get posted in the local job centre to offer opportunities to locals needing a break

Sad news. He was a very kind hearted person and it was easy to see in his shows about animal charities that he really cared. His family and friends must be in shock as his passing away was so sudden and unexpected. RIP
