Anyone got any big plans for Hallowe'en this year? Trick or treating? Party?
I always loved a fancy dress party :D

This year I'm just doing my usual scary movie binge as usual.

My list so far:
The Cabin in The Woods
It Follows
Doctor Sleep
Malignant
Dog Soldiers
Night of The Demon
Vampire Lovers
...and maybe The Exorcist.

A few years ago, I had a friend who has a huge yard. We bought a few things, had a some animatronics, made our own monsters out of old clothes and foam. I was the Mad Scientist with my bloody lab in the garage. We had 2 graveyards, one for the Unknowns and one for the Ded Family (I. M. Ded, U. R. Ded, Way King Ded, Wall King Ded, Shirley Ded, pulse 7 more). We bought full head masks and enhanced them with liquid latex and paint.

Those days are over for me. We had a falling out over a misunderstanding on her part. Now I'm too crippled up to do anything like that at my house.

No one does trick or treating in my neighborhood. Now I watch movies of horror, paranormal, thrillers and all that ilk. One of my Halloween favorites is " It " by Stephen King.

We don't really do Halloween like they do overseas, but the kids trick or treat with their parents.

I'm watching Headless Horseman atm. Think of Ghostrider with a Halloween theme. Its a bit of a comedy if you ask me.

I don't watch horror films ( not a fan ), decorate the house or dress up in rl because to me it is not a fun event. Tbh I hate it, maybe that's because when I put a polite notice in my window saying " Sorry, no trick or treat" some little 'charmer' spat over the window beside the door. Another year when I wasn't even at home they sprayed fake blood over a large window which stained the frame. It took ages to get the marks out. My neighbour had raw eggs thrown at their house and car. Now I have a few sweets/chocolates available jic a trick or treater turns up because I don't want to have to clean up afterwards.
I also don't like trick or treat because for vulnerable people it feels unsafe to open your door to strangers when its dark. Maybe if it was done like they do in some places I'd feel better about it. I believe that people happy to take part place a pumpkin lantern by their door?

You see some incredible costumes nowadays, I used to bung in a set of plastic fangs and that was about it. Instant Dracula!

Thinking about it, vampire was my go-to fancy dress most years.
I did mix it up one year though and did the Gary Oldman look (the one with long hair and cool sunglasses, not the other weird one).
