Japan pharma startup developing world-first drug to grow new teeth. A team of scientists led by a Japanese pharmaceutical startup has been working on a drug to stimulate the growth of new teeth in what would be a world-first, aiming to put it on the market by around 2030.

I am so happy about this news because when I broke my tooth I cried for a very long time.

Please pray to God that sometime in the near future we can regrow my massive beautiful tooth back!

by the way remember to brush your upper teeth! I didn't think they get cavities so I only brushed my bottom and front teeth while neglecting upper teeth and due to that I just lost my biggest tooth which I have and the tooth was responsible for shredding 97% of all the food which I eat...

That's great!

I had a bad experience with a dentist when I was 12 (nothing traumatic, just played off my paranoia) and didn't see one again until I was like 25. Bad dental hygiene in college when I lived on candy and soda. Cavity in every tooth lol. No root canals thankfully and my mouth has since been fixed up thousands of dollars later. It would be nice to not have to worry about fillings falling out

oh and being on an extremely strict diet where you're deficient in everything while shredding is probably the most lethal thing for your teeth due to them losing density which takes years to grow back which is another reason this happened

I will never take my health or teeth for granted again

I just hope I'm able to regrow the molar to its original size because it is massive!

that is awful; are you able to eat crunchy/hard food again with your current fillings?
