Compared to previous years, the announcements they had this year seemed lacking in terms of the new features and improvements made. Previously it seemed there was always a big jump in each new model, but that didn't really seem to be there this year. For example, there was barely any differences between the Apple Watch that would make anyone who has the Series 6 get the Series 7; the biking workout updates interested me but those sounded more like they could be done in software rather than needing a hardware change.
With that said, my aging iPhone 8 is about to hit 4 years old and its battery life is starting to deteriorate so I might consider getting an upgrade soon, though at the same time, a previous generation of phone may have enough 'new' things for me that I may opt against getting the latest and greatest model. Still undecided though.
