My favorite video game of all time is Call of Duty
World at War
.
Such an amazing game with the greatest storyline of any game that I've ever played. It made me feel as if I'm part of the world war 2. I loved playing as the Soviet Red Army! I fell in love with the Soviet Union Russia because of this video game.
The graphics and gameplay were fantastic. It's such a shame that neither Battlefield nor Call of Duty could capture the charm of WaW. World at War is the definition of a perfect video game. Those graphics were so nice on my 160gb ps3 that I paid 700$, they were so beautiful.
I loved playing team deathwatch and zombies late at night while my rs character was afk training. World at War had the right amount of blood, violence, and gore. Even the intro felt so dark and gory, gloomy. It's as if something horrible had just happened and yeah this was world war 2. It felt so real and none of the games afterwards have been able to capture what WaW had.
Everything felt so real and I remember I bought modern warfare 2 and threw it in the garbage within 5 days because that's where it belongs. I continued playing WaW and every year a new CoD came out I'd buy it and within days I'd throw it away and I continue playing WaW.
I threw away blackops 2 within the first 2 hours. It went straight into the trashcan where it belongs. Honestly the only good CoD game was World at War... Every other game was garbage.
I loved every single multiplayer map but my favorite was cliffside because I loved sniping with my arisaka sniper. My favorite zombies map was der riese. I wish that world at war was a game that got updates regularly because it deserves to exist forever.

Skyrim and Minecraft are my top two. I'm very strongly considering developing my own video game right now (also should mention I'm looking for help with it)

what kind of a game are you trying to develop?
@xXO I'm going to design an open world medieval fantasy that can be played in 1st or 2nd person. It will be hyper realistic as far as the architecture, physics (except where dragons and magical things apply) and landscapes go.
Not 100% certain if I can give any more details in the forums according to some rules and such.
