I recently started playing OSRS this year and ive finally seen the samurai gear after years of players requesting it and since RS3 is about to get a sailing update I thought id post this suggestion.
This would work suit better for RS3 in real time but it can work on RS2.
This would be a F2P skill with P2P updates.
How to present this non offically as it could be read?
If this has previous threads than all included from beta.
NEW SKILLS: MARTIAL ARTS
TIE YOUR BELT & PUT ON YOUR GLOVES:
Choose between: TAEKWONDO/KARATE/KICKBOXING
From white - black belt at level 80 with extra ranks available.
XP would be granted on killing mobs (slayer) and players would have to exchange points on their belt for xp (slayer). If a player dies then they lose a percentage of xp collected on the belt. worn.
XP can only be granted if the gloves/ gauntlets and equipment is worn.
There would be a skill book; runes and herblore potions used in skills. Skills in members that would require agility & prayer levels & noted pieces of smithing/crafting/weapons/armour/jewllery.
(Projectiles? Suggesting this with its own skill book). Some projectile skills could have a delay to prevent the use of spamming.
Parry/(1 second) ministun skills with a low (5/7/9% chance) delay to prevent spamming.
There would be no shields with 2 handed gloves. Guantlets at best with their own special skill.
Their would be different types of armour.
The armour would have weaknesses to meelee weapons & likewise with magic and range.
This skill doesnt have to be mixed with combating meelee weapons it could be in duel arena/clan wars and minigames (optional).
(Combating "PVM" bots)
