I think that removing EoC and Old School RuneScape being shutdown due to a divided community and a player base divided and taking everything in Old School RuneScape putting into RuneScape 3 would bring more revenue when analyzing both games in bringing it to come into one successful game is relevant and of my past threads for inspection to piece it together into many ideas. Old School RuneScape has 1 microtransaction that is ruining drop tables and the value of monsters and skilling and it being TIME CONSUMING.
Also making it special for free-to-play that Rune Weaponry has a special attack option therefore keeping the moniker "RuneScape" and keeping Rune Special. RuneScape is it's own game in a unique way that shouldn't be like other MMORPGS and EoC single handedly ruined RuneScape 3 and so did the hero pass. Old School RuneScape bonds is the microtransaction and making Jagex real world traders and it's obvious 7.99 for what 10m now?
I think this game has potential and if the game developers are educated and very aware known in being intelligent and are understanding of RuneScape and their skills in making video games, it needs to be understood that RuneScape needs to be developed into the right direction in gaining in being in ground of being a game that is developed for the better and focusing on what is tearing down RuneScape 3 and having a low player base and what makes Old School RuneScape thrive. Also I think that focusing on 1 thing being that RuneScape and Old School RuneScape are 2 focuses that can be straining and ruining potential for a 1 set video game.
Making barrows upgradeable to being imbued turning it a solid purple to give a lore possibly to the purple corrupted brothers. The Rune Weaponry special attack for Rune Long swords looks like the two swords slicing in the middle like what EoC has in dual wielding attack. I'm not saying removing dual wielding. Just remove EoC and keep dual wielding.

Jagex will never appease everyone if they were to go through with something like this, hence they'll need to keep both variants of the game as they are now, as well as creating a merged game.
I don't think that would bring in
any
additional profits for them to be honest.
"Runescape" comes from MAGIC runes, not rune armor. and no, you cant combine the games in any way without crunching alot of lore both sides have chosen to branch out in conflicting ways.
Having the close to the same copies of the game is TIME CONSUMING and treason to any worker that is willing to enjoy his or her life spending their money on a nessecity of finding joy in their wages. NOT divided attention spans on something similiar that is close to the same foreclosing the gaming industry in a form that there has to be a limitation on the focus and understandment of games and gaming which should be outlawed in the pursuit to make revenue by stealing and having no limit on what you can spend. That said pay-to-win and the gaming industry isn't about only rich people are successful in life but by given chance that even the not so wealthy and wealthy have an equal competition in not ruling out revenue, gameplay, and the success of a company which should stand to be affordable and playable in an firm equality ground for all.
If you do not understand what I SAID then you are not educated and should not ever post and if your working for the company and DO NOT UNDERSTAND?, then you should be FIRED for not being educated.
There are two separate teams working on OSRS and RS3. This means the workers are not dividing their attention between the two games because they only have one to concentrate on.
Jagex are a company, and every company in the world exists to make money for their workers and shareholders. No income equals no workers. No workers equals no game. How do you propose Jagex are to make money if they remove monetisation from RuneScape?
