One idea would be a spike similar to abyssal spike; only would work when wielded in the arrow slot and soul split is active. It would do split soul damage with soul split active and consume a spike for each hit/bleed on opponent.
Something like Soul spikes would be a good name!
With melees limited attack distance and need for bursting on top of diminished returns from soul split at higher hits; would be amazing!
Also would not be able to activate with abyssal spike bleed or other ability damage; so soul split would still heal regularly with spikes and other abilities.
A good item to increase melee bleed/basic ability power while increase maintenance cost to more on par with range/mage ammo.

Another Idea (more basic, cool) would be to make an Attack ultimate ability called Split Soul, which would have 60% adrenaline cost, 30 second cooldown, with 26 seconds up time. This would be a counterpart to Berserk which is a strength ultimate ability that increases damage output for increased damage intake. Split soul has its cons so to speak (no prayer overhead protection, no healing, damage increase based on ability, prayer usage increase some cases), and the ability would be similar to ECB special attack adrenaline costs and uptime; which would make it a good choice to use in place of berserk; as the two would not would good together based on their damage modifier methods.
