Imagine how cool it would be to create your own look for masterwork armor, so every master smith could have their own signature masterwork armor.
I understand this could be hard to implement but I think if the approach is done right, it can be pulled off. Perhaps there should be a customization system involving sliders and presets of armor part designs, colors, textures, and materials when making masterwork. Unless there is a way to have a sort of blank canvas that players can mold/draw their own armor designs.
It would be even more awesome if master smith's could choose the effects/bonuses their masterwork armor provides, being able to choose from a list of presets.
The reason I suggest this is to add a lot to the end of smithing. It would provide a really epic payoff for players and motivate them to reach max smithing. Perhaps this would allow for smiths to become well known in Runescape just by their custom armor. Also, it would be a way for players to make a direct mark and stand out in the world of Gilenor.
P.S. Can we also get the option for making masterwork weapons? If so, they would benefit from this customization as well.
