Whenever Jagex comes up with a new skill that's just more grind and completely uninteresting, like necromancy, they should make adding the skill optional. AT THE VERY LEAST they should not embargo xp lamps/stars for SIX FRIGGIN MONTHS!!!

It already is optional. It's called "not training the skill".

We're not forced into doing it, so what's the problem?

If you don't want to train it, but want your levels to go up, why not wait 6 months?

Nope. New skills have had embargoes for as long as I've been playing.

If you don't want to train the skill, that's up to you. But complaining about it across multiple threads and offering nothing better than "I don't like it" won't help.

I would like the embargo to at least be shortened to 3 months for future skills. 6 month embargo is too long to wait to be able to use th lamps on it.
