Recently I got a friend to play runescape 3, she already had an account but it probably had less then 10-20 hours of playtime in it. Point is she was basically almost completely new.
What made her want to try it was necromancy and how easy it seemed to make much of the content in the game. Also the fact the cape was black and purple. Well since she is normally an Overwatch streamer she decided to stream her adventures in Runescape.
I feel like this is a perfect example of what the new player experience is like in Runescape 3. She happens upon a bunch of roadblocks that make her almost want to quit if it weren't for me and my friends egging her on and helping her. Problem is if she was alone with no friends playing RS3 she would definitely had quit by now.
I feel like people that work at Jagex could take a look at her stream highlights and have an example of what a previous Overwatch/Mobile game streamer navigates the harsh early game of RS3.
