Have them be a ritual ingredient, elemental into catalytic, catalytic into necrotic. Example: 400 elemental into 100 catalytic. 400 catalytic into 100 necrotic. The numbers are arbitrary so please don't pay too much attention to that. Details can be ironed out at a later date.

Anima stones grant a +2 to the rune multiplier when runecrafting - for those unaware. Bob says:
