Can jagex let players buy yak coins for yak tracks with runecoins? This way jagex still profits and of course the yak coins bought with runecoins expire like coins obtained through the track. Just restrict it so runecoins can only be used for yak coins when a yak track is active. How about 150 runecoins per yak coin? That sounds pretty fair.
Or let players spend 2k loyalty points to buy 1 yak coin. Same expiry and same restrictions. Loyalty points can be then saved for a month before the next yak track starts then they can be spent on yak coins. let loyal players exchange loyalty points for coins.
And let players spend seasonal oddment variants, like h'oddments and heartments on yak coins as well.
While we didn't get any third seasonal oddment variant so far, I'm sure there are players wanting to spend their heartments and h'oddments on yak coins if they've bought all unlockable rewards and need to get rid of them for yak track cosmetics.
