NpC's can be used for bank depositers for example lumbridge river to deposit your fish. He is unlocked for a fee of 25k. He is also at barbarian village that can deposit your trout and salmon and other fishing spots. These Npc's can also be used at mining areas to deposit your ore and other skilling areas for resources. Banks are too far and only to see the sea of dropped iron ore and fish.

Making Npc despositers and deposit boxes where monsters are to deposit the loot will eliminate the dropped loot and item unused issue.
