Grand Exchange workforce
This is an idea that would improve how factories, contracts, and invention machines work. An update to benefit all levels of skill-based players. An update that does not reduce time of game but moves it around for a nice handling fee.
Elite masters give the newbies masses what they want. Give them vast amounts of resources that they can craft into glutinous amounts of retail items for you! Enabling you to make billions of gold pieces. The masses would get the xp. A newbie’s dream come true. They can convert billions of herbs into potions, lining the Master Elites pockets, Umm, I mean helping reduce endless stacking items in our banks.
Do you have 35000 clean Arbuck herbs, you donate them to the Grand Exchange’s “Labor pool“ (Someone else can name it). Some noob extracts 28 grimy herbs and converts them too clean, or 14 clean and makes unfinished, or, (yup, endless xp making tasks). You retrieve these items for a handy handling fee. Much like the Grand exchange sales tax.
These tasks are not tradable but could be cancelable like a slayer task, or just canceled. If it was up to me, you could always take ‘28’ of whatever and process it. But taking an overload task could still require 4 of each 4 potion. Vials and flasks would also be required.
This is not just for herblore. It would include uncooked meat pie, mud pie, cherry pie. Raw Hides, anything that can be done, Smithing, jewelry. Arrows, bolts, and bow, ‘oh my!’
I am wood cutting, I can trim vines, making nothing, I can cut logs with a billion trips to the bank. I can sell them or craft them or, yes nothing changes unless you have 200m in fletching. Now you take the logs and request unfinished bows. Or include bow strings and request finished bows you can convert into invention extras.

What just happened, capitalism at its finest. Find a need, fill a need, at a cost. The almost endless supply of easily manipulated newbies want ‘free’ XP, elite masters do what masters do, they master the masses!
RuneScape, the magnanimous Masters of the Elite masters, you need to ask yourselves, hmmm what about a nice handling fee from the newbies as well. Bah, Ha, Ha, ha! You are truly worthy of the title “Worse than the Ferengi’ (Credits to the Star Trek Franchise.)
This is not the next skill. It is the evolution of merchandising!
Why do the Elite Skilling Master want this, to drive down prices, to help the newbies masses. Why should we elite masters have to be stuck doing menial tasks like bank standing, when the newbies masses could be doing the work for us. I mean, so we can help them achieve their goals.
Elite Masters, think about it, hundreds of thousands of Primal Fruit Pulp converted to Primal extract. Your effort, extract as bank notes, pay a deposit fee, and in a few minutes, hours, or days you pay an extraction fee and pick up your converted Primal Extract.
Perhaps you want that Extract created into something else, another input fee, and an extract fee and you have 100,000 Powerburst of Opportunity. Well technically you also paid a fee for the Runite Stone Spirit, the Necrite spirit, and the bottled dinosaur roar. (Ferengi laughter)
Wait, was this a benefit for me at all, with all the fees it was almost cheaper to create these myself. 100,000 divided by 14, nope by 9, nope some of these item’s stack, dang it. I am an elite master and should not have to think, just enjoy the fruits of the newbie masses, I mean of my labors.

Another less prominent voice cuts in, wait, um what about me, I am an ever-aspiring Elite Master. I have 98 herblore, can I benefit from this?
A gaggle of elite masters discuss this. If we let those ‘lower XPers’ use this, their additional votes may help get this implemented by the magnanimous Masters of the Elite masters. This it is all level based so, unless you have the level to grow or clean herbs you cannot make the potions anyways.
The magnanimous Masters of the Elite masters also discuss this. Do we like this, fees in, fees out, from both the requester and the requestee. I mean if we get our fees, do we even care? Oh yeah, this is still a game of levels. The players can use the services to create things they have the level to make themselves. No flipping assisting.
This does not cutdown the time of play as ‘someone’ is still logged in doing the work. The fees in and fees out provide a grand exchange update for all players.
The master Elite, 200m level player avoid bank standing but pay a nice fee, tax.
The high 80’s crowd can pay fee’s to RuneScape not to the other players to convert items for them. Everything is still level based, no game time is lost.
