Probably gonna catch a bit of disagreement here but. Considering the amount of ink we go through having to change glyphs around every time we want to do a different ritual, let alone how much we go through to repair glyphs. Do you think it'd be possible to have tier 2 and by extension tier 3 foundational glyphs (cause this wouldn't work well for alteration glyphs) act as lower tiers of that glyph, since foundational glyphs are really only used for the ritual itself, unlike alteration glyphs which modify the ritual itself which is why the idea wouldn't work with alteration.

I'd support something like lvl 99 maintaining tier 1 glyphs and 120 tier 2s, but I feel mixed about other glyphs being permanent. Maybe one spot that is eligible would be a compromise and require a large amount of ink to bind to the slab

Could be useful, support. I would love it if we could get a permanent glyph system, I don't like how it's got limited supply.

Support. I hate having to swap out higher tier glyphs everytime I need to do a lower tier ritual

As a thought, higher tier could last longer before needing repairs during rituals, so that’d be another benefit to using better glyphs

So you are suggesting that an Elemental II glyph could be used in place of an Elemental I glyph for example? As long as the only effect is to make it so that the glyphs last longer (at the cost of more expensive mats) I guess I could support this. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
