I have been a player for many years. Runescape has been the one game, i always come back too, specifically old school. Growing up, everyone talked about and played runescape. Honestly its the grind that kills me. This year ive become more commited, then ever. I've created a new character. I skilled up to combat skills to level 40 before i started questing. Im questing in release order, i do know there are faster ways to level up. I just want to understand the lore and really see what runescape is really all about.
Growing up, i always envisioned a better version of runescape. Runescape 3 was that but not really. The graphics and change of combat were great. However the micro transactions always disgusted me. I hate the key and chest system.
I miss funorb and i really wish you made stellar dawn.
My biggest hope for jagex was a console, release.
I always wanted to see a runescape mmo, as big as world of warcraft, bigger and a better cooler story. Something like skyrim mixed with fable. I know these days are hard on everyone. However Jagex the thing I love about you after all these year with your failures and success. Including mobile which is the only way i can play at the moment. I live on the poor end and your game still is playable with so much too do. In todays world we see games flop, but runescape and old school have stood the test of time and thst is something worth noting.
Listening to your community was your best strength. I love the fact your allow your games to grow. I wish there was some for free player content. Faster ways to level up skills and quests. If i could suggest finding ways to grab new players attention.
I dont really have that many friends on runescape anymore. I will say the community on the other hand is beyond helpful. After i had gotten off tutorial island someone gave me 25k. Something back in 2003 when i first played was unheard of. Everyone back then tried to kill you or try to trick you. See you in the future!
Great to see your enthusiasm about the game! Happy 'scaping
