With the reveal of the TzekHaar Front of the Elder God Wars, it's been revealed that the new T95 sword, the Ek-ZekKil, will benefit from a piece of equipment that, while once mighty, has been largely forgotten about for the better part of a decade: the Berserker Necklace.
As someone who values diversity in equipment (because everyone using the same things is boring), this might be the part of this front that I'm excited about the most (and that's saying something, because this Front sounds amazing!). To see a long abandoned piece of content suddenly not only become relevant again, but reclaim a niche alongside what will presumably be the best 2H weapon in the game for years to come, is fantastic news and a brilliant design decision. I look forward to witnessing berserkers cut bloody swathes through the battlefield as they sacrifice the benefits of other neck-slot items to capitalize on the sheer combined
power
that the Ek-ZekKil and Berserker Necklace will provide them.
Between this and the rings from the Rex Matriarchs earlier this year, there seems to be a conscious choice to make some of the old endgame equipment shine again in some form or another, and I am
loving
it. Keep it up!
