A couple weeks ago, I got my 15-year veteran cape and I want to express my gratitude to Jagex and the players for keeping this game so engaging that I'm still playing it 15 years later. I played it through last four years of elementary school, entire highschool, entire university study and now I have master's degree in chemistry and I still get to play it when time allows me. I watched RS evolve in front of my eyes to the game that it is today, from goblins and spiders getitng a graphic update back in 2006/2007 to gods returning to Gielinor in 2013, all the way to Elder God Wars Dungeon in present time, and while I had breaks when life came in a way, lasting for weeks or even months at times, I never thought of quitting the game.
All in all, I'm very thankful I've been able to experience this game. The vast world to explore, all the lore and quests. all the skills to train and the soundtrack that I feel only gets better with every year. As long as this game continues to exist and evolve, this player won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
