So I came back to RS back in February, after about 5 years of not playing - and even 5 years ago, I came back for a very short time. Runescape has allowed me an escape during these challenging times in the world. These last few months, I have played and interacted with this game more than I have in my life, and have found a love for this game the way I did when I was a kid playing for the first time. Back in February, I started back with only 3 99's, to which I have now obtained 24 99's. I had focused a lot on raising these skills, learning new ways to train, and completing quests along the way (more recently with the quests). I wanted to give some compliments of things that really "wow'd" me along the way the last few months.

1) Archeology

Absolutely loved this skill, and it's a skill that made me really interested in the lore behind RS for the first time (never thought much of it as a kid) and prompted me to want to do more quests to really take in the history behind Gielinor. I thought the digsite locations were graphically beautiful, and enjoyed the puzzles along the way. Oh and flying in game - awesome.

2) Music

This is something I've come to appreciate more over the last few weeks. Like many people, I play RS muted while I listen to my favorite bands. However, recently, I started to unmute RS when entering new locations I had never been to while training, skilling, or just exploring. I've also started to unmute during the entire completion of quests (as many of the quests I have been completing have allowed me to enter entirely new areas I didn't even know existed in-game). It's allowed me to really feel immersed when doing quests. Some honorable mentions of music that I've loved:

a) Hall of Memories
b) Plague's End Final Boss Battle
c) Almost all of Prif - but especially the song that plays at the final cut scene before the completion of Plague's End
d) The entire last half of World Wakes quest, especially the battles/ending

To be continued:

3) Quests

This is something I have focused a lot on over the last month or so. I never used to be much of a quest person, which is probably why I had a pathetic quest point score by the time I came back to this game in February. While training my skills, I wanted access to new areas to train, and wanted to have some idea behind why these areas I'm going to exist. What's it all about? So I started questing. I have come to really enjoy it, even with the ridiculous amount of puns and goofy humor thrown into it. Some honorable mention of ones that I've really enjoyed.

a) Plague's End - storyline, combat, puzzles, music
b) Crocodile Tears - graphically, it's just beautiful
c) The World Wakes - one of the first quests I've done that is longer and focuses primarily on battle, which I loved; storyline was awesome, felt excited, happy, sad, all the feels; music was great, the "team up" aspect with the NPCs I really enjoyed
d) All the quests with Zanik - I love her storyline; probably one of my favorite characters in game

I've only got 291 quest points at the moment, and the majority of the ones I have left to do are long, very long, etc. so I'm looking forward to learning more about the lore. I'm sure this list will grow with honorable mentions.

4) Graphics and Gameplay

I've really enjoyed the graphics of this game, especially of the new areas I have explored in recent months. Menaphos and Prif are two of my favorite places graphically. Gameplay wise, I've really enjoyed the quality of life updates. The grind aspect is still there, without being so ridiculously tedious the way I felt before the transition to EOC.

~~ Overall, just wanted to share some compliments of things that have really brought me a lot of joy over the last few months. Runescape has definitely gotten me through a lot of difficult times during this pandemic, and I'm grateful for this game. ~~

I can agree with you on a lot of the points that you listed. The music, graphics and quests just creates an amazing feeling in the game. I'm glad you're enjoying it that much.

If you try setting a goal like Questpoint cape, or even Master Quest cape, you'll find even more explorations to do. It's very exciting, full of pleasing audio and scenery. Happy scaping! :)
Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

I like RS music too. Especially those that have been remastered.
My favorite ones: Aesta Frostweb, Power of Tears, Trinity, Apipelagic, Worlds, On distant Shores, The Town. wonderful

Archeyo -- very good skill compared to fletching or firemaking for example but I don't like skilling in general.
