Does anyone else have a problem with the Elder God War line?

I love the storyline, I've completed the dig site, but that's all I can do. I don't have a

Slayer

level high enough to damage the Dragonkin, or the Glacor. Now we have the Croesus, and I don't have skills high enough to do anything there either.

I can participate in what maybe a quarter of the entire event. I'm just feeling left out of the event as a whole, and I was wondering if anyone else had the same feeling.
