Runescape has done something special for me - it has taught me patience which, in itself, is something that requires mastery in multiple dimensions. Runescape is a grind essentially reflecting irl and carrying the grinders mindset has helped me overcome many challenges. Perspective is a beautiful thing and the messages you send us, whether intentionally or not, has helped me move closer to absolute clarity. Thanks fam.
Do you find that little virtual wins (such as levelling up) gives you that dopamine hit, and it transfers to your real life and it makes you celebrate little things a bit more?
I agree, Runescape has taught me that good things generally take time. Why do people max their accounts? Sure, to enjoy high level content. But also because it really does take time to make enough money in game to max your account. Even for the skills that are cheaper like fletching, firemaking, etc, they still take time to max.
