I doubt anyone will read this, but I'm doing this on my own accord.

Thank you for posting this game on Miniclip over 16 years ago, I found this wonderful game then. I was 10 years old when I found RuneScape, through the years I grew up this game became a daily part of my life. My adolescent years were filled with tons of adventures and memories of this wonderful game. Through the ups and downs I had friends always online, until I logged in just now to find a friendslist that once used to be full, with tons of players messaging me "Whats up max" when I logged in to all "offline" I had a nostalgic moment. The "Newbie melody" old version on youtube came up and I listened.

RuneScape used to be such a huge part of my life, I had so many memories. I learned a lot, I learned about friendship, betrayal, how to type fast to sell items in world 1&2. Every single day was a new adventure and it was something I can never forget as long as I live.

I grew up, joined the military, got married, had a kid, got out of the military and started a career. Now the days of being that 10 year old are over. It will never be the same as it was, and as much as I miss it, I am thankful for discovering this great game.

I still will retain membership for as long as this game draws breath so I can log in every now and then and see whats new. But I can never get that great feeling of what I had when I was a kid back, the feeling of the unexpected, the feeling of discovering something entirely new.

Thank you for the great childhood memories, I am forever grateful for them. Be seeing ya.

Thank you for sharing! I can't help but relate to your experience in many ways. I also started playing 16 years ago when RS was popular on Miniclip.

Over the years, I've made lots of friends and unexpectedly learned a lot about community building. RS is such a special place for people to socialize, strategize, and have fun together. People you meet aren't just characters; they're real human beings. I still find it amazing that we can all have meaningful conversations and do many activities together in RS.

Fast forward a few years from joining RS and you have a flourishing environment even outside of RS. Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, Discord, Twitch, Instagram, etc. The Jagex team has also grown tremendously. Mods in different regions of the world, expanded teams across the company, and senior leadership with decades of experience.

I love your point about always logging in to see what's new and to catch up with friends. It's amazing to see friends from many years ago log in every now and then. We chat about our memories and catch up on what's new with the game and with each other.
