Every step of the YAK TRACK ladder has Skill & Kill - I like it!
Also, the design of some of these cosmetics are 'great' well done!

What if... by completing the specific skill task you get an extra exp lamp in that skill?

Yep, great to see Skill & Kill as an option at every stage :)
I didn't even know Yak Track was coming back, so that was a nice surprise.

Yea

In previous Tracks, having to decide between 350k xp in fletching or 500k xp in mining when both skills were maxed, made yak track a non event, but after listening and hearing, Jagex have worked it out now.

Well done on getting it right.

But don't stand still ....

Maybe a multiple track option in the future to make it more challenging might be worth looking into ...

ie give us 3 trails similar to your temple trekking mini game idea, but in the easy hard nightmare type with scaled rewards on each track, or maybe 3 complete tracks in these styles, start to finish.

I think it can be done.

Certainly worth a try and gamers would be up for it.

I like the new layout.

Gives me skills to train at will. So I'll be doing a shead load of Fishing me thinks for all the Skilling. :P

I think this is a good direction for Yak to take. Will save me using up all my Skip Tickets. Well for now until I get to task 40+ and find I need to catch a few 1000 sharks lol.

As I was just saying to someone on my thread in G&A, it will be interesting to see how this works out at the upper tiers, when we will have to Skill and Kill more times per task, yet the skill-specific tasks will be quite grindy. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
You can buy XP. You can't buy experience.
"...From The 'Scape" is very nearly here.

I also like the "skill and kill" option for every ladder. You play the game how you want and are not forced to do specific tasks. I don't pay much attention to yak tracks now, but to have this feature and to then get a "surprise reward" when you're focused on something else is nice.

Agreed! Although I mostly ignore the Yakkety-Yak, it's fun to get an occasional surprise reward regardless of what I choose to train.
Never uses treasure hunter keys. Never buys runecoins or bonds. Never pays extra for 'Premier' status or passes. Never will.
