Dear Jagex, I just want to say that personally OSRS is still one of my favorite games and I really enjoyed what has been created throughout the years.. Playing since 2004 if you ask me what has actually kept me so long playing? It’s PK’ng. One of my favorite things was leveling up my attack to 40 and going on a STR training binge to go test out my hits in the wilderness/bounty hunter. For example, When zaniks crossbow was a thing I would love to test out the power of my highly trained ranged. Seeing the special of it, ripping through opponents defences with a magic based attack was a love of mine that I dont think I will feel again. Personally, I think that jagex developers and affiliates have swayed away from the whole PK scheme of things and that truly saddens me. A lot has been promised to us pkers but in the end of the day not a whole lot has been met or even fulfilled. I would love to see new weapons, specials and even prayer/armour upgrades soon. Maybe one day i will walk into Bounty hunter like before and see it thrive. I think jagex has gone more of a WoW style themed game in regards to updates and pvming which is fine. But im here to say that pkers are hungry and we need something as well. We have been patient, have sacrificed a lot and are seeing wildy numbers lower than usual. Im sure i will see a new quest update soon but maybe I will see a new PK based upgrade soon! Pking is not dead by any means and I doubt it ever will. But I do think pkers have taken massive hits because of updates which I cant justify. Im sure people get mad when they get koed in wildy (like players that are more pvm) which probably cause them to quit the game. Inget it, you guys like being fair but isnt that the whole point of the wildy? I think its time to throw us dogs (pkers) a bone here once and a while because I definitely feel we have been kept away in a dark closet somewhere for a while now. However I'm sorry to have to tell you that as far as I know (my own experiences concur) the reason the wilderness is mostly empty as so many say, is because those of us who might be tempted in there by resources (the prey) are so sick of being killed by other players. Even gangs of players.

The players killers today are (I'm told) not like they used to be. They are very efficient and exist in significant numbers that in any other game at all, you would simply describe the wilderness as constantly camped.

So we don't go in there anymore. Because it's a waste of time. Too many want too much for far too little and too consistently. We won't be their prey sheep. They can f**k off instead is the general feeling.

When predation gets out of balance but still holds all the trump cards in a real and immediate situation how on earth do you deal with that? Well the answer is that something like predation which is natural and older than humanity itself, deals with its glut in an also very natural way.

It treats itself. The prey stops turning up. Denial of resources is how that's dealt with.

As a 20 year player I highly doubt you're one of the modern trash that simply wants to do no f**king work and reap big bucks in the mean time. I suspect you're of a better standard. I do not know anything about bounty hunter etc... only the wilderness and resource gatherers'/producers' attitudes to it at this time.

I can answer only that question, but I think there are others in your post I couldn't as I don't have the knowledge

Thank you @Messa, I completely get where your coming from. I was more talking about updates now-days and how we dont see the pk related updates we used to see like the Korasi sword and my old time favorite the zaniks crossbow. As im regards to me being the scum in the wildy, im way too consumed in the max cape grind! I wont be having my pk fun in a while now.
