I have the fondest memories of hanging out in Lummy and getting scammed at drop parties. I once had an account called "chicken slayer" because of excessive amount of feathers I was slangin.' So many cows too have seen my wrath in the early 2000s. I was a kid when RS first came out so I SUCKED a lot. All anyone ever talked about was RS levels GRINDED. We were not questing.

Now, returning, as an adult ... This game is so beautiful. The questing is so much more enjoyable -- you don't have to consult Rune HQ anymore every step of the way. I intend on playing the Old School version too (as that's what I grew up playing) but wow, it's so good to see the vibrant life that has been breathed back into this game. Jagex has handled RS with care and delivered on Mobile versions as well. This game means so much to so many and it's good to see that the future is still looking bright. I feel that the improvements made in the new game have done the game wonders, I think leveling feels so much less tedious now for some reason as well. I like the double XP events they offer. The cosmetics are affordable. Membership I feel, while could be a little less expensive, goes towards a truly live world.
