OldSchool Runescape is what I paid for and signed up for. I wasn't against Jagex making RS3, but I personally, felt betrayed and disappointed when Runescape BECAME Rs3.
My God spell staves from the mage arena are now fashionscape. As far as I know I can't do anything with the old god books. My old pker tactics of casting ice barrage while wielding a crossbow are now null and void, as spells require a magical item to be wielded in order to be cast.
I have since left RS3 for OldSchool Runescape, though I was happy with RS3's Zarosian updates, such as ancient curses, Zarosian items, and his return.
I would like to see Zaros return to oldschool runescape one day, though I am not sure if I'd like to see Guthix die in the process. Perhaps an alternative story line?
Anyways, I hope Jagex keeps oldschool runescape oldschool. I like the graphics, I like the combat system, etc. It's what I signed up for and what I want. I pray Jagex never does to OSRS what they did to the original.
All that said, I am pleased with OSRS.
