A big thank you for setting up the event!
I know there are more festivities to come over the coming days and weeks, but it was great to see the crater transformed into a hub for the anniversary celebrations. The area is lovely, and the return of the statues from previous events was a nice touch. It was fun running around to see what was there, and who/what was represented. I hope you can roll out the newer ground textures and tree models across the game at some point.
Similarly, it was nice to revisit some familiar locations as part of the miniquest. I particularly enjoyed the little references used throughout the quest and the fact that it remained relatively short and simple. It felt like a return to the quests of the past: kudos for recapturing that feeling.
The party balloon drops are somewhat of a tradition now, but it was good to see them return as well. I particularly like how we can access them at the vast majority of lodestones regularly, meaning that players have multiple chances to participate and that the celebrations are spread across the game.
It was a lovely surprise to receive a recolourable outfit, too! It looks great, and I can't wait to see how I can use it in conjunction with existing outfits and overrides.
Thanks for twenty years of fun and adventure. I hope we can spend the next few weeks sharing our memories and reflecting on the game's history, before moving on to the next chapter.
