let me try clear the confusion as best i can so,
if you had 8 billion Gp and went to tavaley or priff summoning shop you could buy 320,000,000 shards (320m) that in a trade would be worth 8B you can also sell that 320m shards back to the shop for the same 8B gp you paid at any time
if you brought them off the Ge yes they are sold for 24gp each so you would be able to buy 333M shards but this would either take you 100 years or thousands of alts to purchase so this isnt really an option
when trading player to player shards are always valued at 25gp each as this is what any shop will but them for best to just ignore Ge price for shards
