No, the experience per star remains the same. Assuming that you buy 50 stars and place them all into a level 99+ stat (excluding Invention), you can expect to receive 1,032,270 bonus experience.

However, there is now a limit on the number of stars that you can buy (50). It could well be that you're remembering purchases made before the limit was introduced, as 75 stars would equate to 1,548,405 bonus experience.

XP and BXP from some lamps and stars were temporarily increased by 50% during the 2020 Advent Calendar event from December 1 to the end of December 24. So, the XP/BXP was reverted back to the original values after the conclusion of the event.
