To be honest I hadn't noticed, but you're right. They haven't dropped as significantly as some other items, but it seems that all high value items have declined since the release of max cash update. In looking at the GE chart, it seems Purple Halloween has been declining since before then though. Anticipation of the update? Does this items historically have cyclical price fluctuations? I'm not sure I know.

I would like Jagex to release updated numbers on the amount of gp entering/exiting the game since the recent updates. Trading a partyhat or christmas cracker takes billions of gp from the game per transaction.

A symptom of the max cash update. Players are selling their purple weens for reasons like saving up for necro, wanting the gp back or not wanting the item any more. I'm still keeping mine because I like how it looks. For all we know it could return in grim harvest 2023. If it does then rip its price even more. Seems the playerbase is realizing these knockoff rares aren't worth investing in.

I forgot to even mention there is a pending new skill release on top of the "economic" updates such as GE tax, max cash update, etc...
