WARNING:

You sir’ are the finest example of a manipulator.
You’ve bought all these items, you don’t intend to buy anymore, but what you’re now wanting to do is dump every item that you have just mentioned to us..
You are advertising these items in hope that others will see this post and jump on the band wagon and buy into them also.
This would increase the price of them in GE and then once they rise a little bit you will dump them all and crash their prices.

im surprised this guy can still use the forums tho. hes been doing these things for a month now or so. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Also you can pretty much consider sharing the items your merching is something you wont do unless you already sold the items or your trying to dump it on another person or you are really new to merching.

atleast on the bright side people will know what they shouldnt buy. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

I sort of agree with SirJosh - mainly I don't understand why you would you publicly post your merch items with the exact quantities of how many you own unless you were done with buying them and had ulterior motives in mind lmao. (Unless you just really wanted to kick off the thread by sharing some ideas you had)

To be honest, though, I really like the idea/concept behind this thread and have discussed this style of merching with a few good friends in game before. It's one of the most interesting and exciting ways to merch in the game in my opinion. Tbh though, if I were doing it, I would keep all items I am buying a secret and I think many others would too.

I think it would be better, if this is allowed, to write the reason why a certain item might be interesting to invest in rather than just listing out the items + quantities of them. Like "X item is near alch value which means it has relatively small downside risk, if they were to update this item in Y way, or if Z catalyst event happens, it could potentially go up in price etc."

The reason why he isn’t keeping them a secret is because they’re stagnant items.
If you were buying items up then “yes” you would keep it a secret if you foreseen the item going up as it’s either discontinued or currently not currently obtainable such as a “Partyhat jumper token” for example.
But because his items have been stagnant for so long he is trying to move the market (even just a little bit) before he dumps to maximise profit, or at least try get his money back.
Of course my assumption could be wrong, but let’s be real, why else would he be doing this? and in such detail?
Any smart marcher never reveals what he’s investing in, unless they’re trying to pull a scam like what this seems to be.

I am simply the greatest marcher that this game has ever had

So it was 2015 I had just started playing rs again. I started off with chopping logs, flipping f2p items. Soon I had made enought gp for a bond which was 5m and I amde one of my accs a member.

I went to barrows and got a karils bow "3m" I knew that my membership as going to run out if I don't make gp a lot faster than that.

Man what do i do? My main was banned at the time so all I had was a pure with 99 magic and lvl 1def. Barrows is costign me too much gp, I am not getting drops.

I see vengeance shield is 7m in the ge and is a new item. I put in offer for 3m and it buys, I sel it for 5m. I start flipping more of the shields. I am now makign 10m+ a day.

I soon have enough gp to make 5 accs members. I make them members and I also start flipping on them. On 50+ accs I was also buying willow comp bows which ended up being a huge profit later.

By the end of 2015 not only did I have a purple phat and a mask set but I had an entire phat set, and all the edibles. It was at the end of this year that I got my banned main back which also had a phat set and a mask set. It was this year that I also had 100 Christmas scythes that I later sold for another purple phat.

At this time I started investing in akrisae sets which paid off as soon as invention came out, I started buying other items too.

After I had seen how much gp I had made with willow comps and I started buying everything and anythings thus making tens and hundreds of billions off of diamonds, tokens, seeds, sandstone and other garbage.

I went from chopping logs and hardly being able to afford a bond to having 25+ and having multiple phat sets. btw all my acsc have farming pets too

now as for osrs I have over a trillion worth of gp and I started with nothing back in 2019
