Did Jagex intentionally make it impossible to use the usual methods to remove a dye the Fractured Staff of Armadyl? Red portal and wildy deaths don't work.

wasnt there like an old trick for that,

a tub with hot water and add metal cleaning lotion or something like that to it.

that should do the trick!.

back on topic and in this reality, every item that can be dyed can be undyed if the correct method is used.

Using a dye on your item tells you that its permanent so its a risk you take when using a dye on an item, making it untradable.
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

Astutely pointing out the obvious, however there has always been a way to undye an item using the methods I mentioned. I am not mad if that won't be possible moving forward, just curious if this was intentional by Jagex or just oversight for the SoA. Personally I think for an in game fee dyes should be removable and permanently lost but thats a whole other debate.

I think it might be a bug so make sure to report it ingame using the report option, that way jatex receives your findings and they might deal with it, ive had good experiences with using the report option for bugs in the past so it should be the best way to deal with it, meanwhile i recommend not trying it multiple times because it could make more trouble on the long run. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

It was probably done this way because there was a bug when repairing a dyed SoA causing it to become undyed. This may just been the easiest way for them to hotfix that bug.
