What's neat is you can buy inactive sale offers. So, if someone logs in who was selling a santa before it hit max but then went inactive, you could put in some offer and have it buy. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity.

True story that I perhaps should not tell you:
I once put in max cash to buy a scythe, and it bought instantly (probably for just under max). This happened this year or late last. Scythe had been over max for quite a while.
How did it happen? I bought another person's inactive sale offer (older than 7 days but he had just logged back in, making it active again).
And another on my friend list had put in an offer only a couple hours prior. So, I got my purchase during the right time window. I resold for only a small profit. It wasn't too far over max at the time.
