As everyone knows, the Rares market is being heavily manipulated. This thread is for discussing ways people think Jagex could combat manipulation with rare items.
Here are some of the ways that manipulation happens, to help start the discussion:
Trading with alt accounts to create fake screenshots as "proof"
Over/under valuing items within a trade, to artificially increase/decrease the trades worth
Listing price ranges that are biased, since it can't be 100% verified if the trade was real or fake. The people that list these ranges are usually also heavily involved in trading rares for profit, so they can't always be trusted.
Accounts that get banned for manipulation/RWT are also taking more and more rare items out of the game, which also works in favour of the manipulators.
