I've bin using all the 3 Crystal Tools for a while now (Pickaxe / Harpoon / Axe). And the only one that feels 'out of place' is the Crystal Axe. After noticing this, I started to check the 'stats of the Crystal Axe.

In OSRS the Crystal Axe is 4.5 - 5% faster then the Dragon Axe. While the Harpoon is 12.5% faster then the Dragon Harpoon and the Pickaxe has a chance of minging an ore with an additional 1/4 chance to reduce this to 2 ticks with 3.03% more minging speed over the Dragon Pickaxe.

You can clearly feel the diffrence when fishing or minging. But comparing this to Woodcutting with the crystal axe'; the time between a full inventory of magic logs with the Crystal axe compared to the Dragon axe did not really matter at all / feel satisfying.

Also it's good to mention that in RS3 the Crystal axe is 15% faster over the DRAGON AXE. Which makes me wonder even more why the Crystal axe is left alone in OSRS.
I may be misjudging on what I know so far, but for me this does not feel right at all.

You have to do alot of Quests in order to end up at the Quest; Song of Elves. I felt so good after finishing the Quest because for me; it was a long journey to getting to this point. And I expected more from the Crystal Axe then just this small boost.

I hope that there is a possibility to look at the Crystal axe and give it some tweaks/buffs so it feels more rewarding to use.

this is the rs3 forum so im not sure if your question regards rs3 or osrs.

also i think you should ask this question in the suggestion section this is the discontinued items section.

for oldschool idk anything but in rs3 i think the crystal hatchet is pretty nice, yes for mining and some other skills there are better skilling weapons but the crystal hatchet will surely get an upgrade in the future+ if im correct you can augment the crystal hatchet so that should help too. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.
