Hey,


So these have gone up a lot yesterday with the new spell update.
After sitting @ around 120 for over 1 year they went up to 250-300 each at which price they sat more or less stable during the last year.

Yesterday they spiked,the highest price i have seen was insta buy at 640 ea and the lowest price i have seen was insta sell at 369 ea (1gp below mid) this morning.
What will the future hold for death runes, will they stabelize at 500-600 ea, slowly keep going up even higher or will they fall back again?

I have no clue how usefull the new spells are so this is kinda difficult to judge for me.

That is a crazy chart! I haven’t played enough and just rejoined so I can’t speak to how good the new spells are.

Based on your insta buys I’d say it still has legs to run. On whether or not this will be a new range or if it will sharply drop again, the first two days after the peak should be indicative. If there are only minor losses it should establish a new floor, but if it has a quick drop it’ll head back to the original price.

I wonder if it’s RuneScape’s pricing mechanism that allows for insta buys to differ drastically from spot price or if it is just lack of liquidity. I had the same thing happen to me with lobsters last night where I was selling them for almost 50% over spot price instantly.

Well they went down again, 300-350 each.
maybe they will make another jump when the gw update comes out. It kinda would make sense that the new spells are usefull for that?

Lobsters are weird,they sat at 200 for a long time and now they went to 700 ea? No clue what is behind that but it seems like a kinda high price for them.

People do make runes, but I dunno if they make death or blood. You still hear of abyss runecrafting. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

One person bought trout out of the ge and then purchased 1 for 1m gp, just to show he could. Someone could have just bought all the lobs out. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

lobsters can be used to feed dragons perhaps player owned farm had some influence on the price

also take a look at willow logs they was worthless pretty much till they made the incense sticks now they are worth more than magic logs and pretty stable aswell ive had instabuys on them at 1 k ea not to long ago

Monday's patch removed death runes from exsanguinate spell, so maybe that has a factor in it going back down.

Bloods are good money and exp. Especially if you have wicked hood tokens.

Deaths have free teleports separate from wicked hood, which makes them worthwhile if you can be bothered.
