In the recent rs live stream they mentioned that they manually updated the prices of the items they felt were out of place.
Many items such as high end weapons/armour and tokens got their prices updated

One item caught my eye:
The infamous Easter egg got bumped to max cash
But what about pumpkin? The first holiday item? No love for this orange beauty?

Yeah, Mod Timbo did.
This was needed and it's really good work but there's some more things to do like those items that you've mentioned. I was thinking the same last night.

It is possible that rather than manually changing the price, they changed the mechanism which dictates how how much a price changes. If this is the case, it might be another couple of months before the pumpkin price updates on its own accord.

No, it was changed manually.

People have been sniping Easter Eggs on the G/E for max cash, so they probably have more data on Eggs than Pumpkins. That would be my guess. Same goes for Disk and Wine. Bob says:
A bank PIN will keep your items secure.
Always check the second trade screen.
Never trade in the Wilderness!
Keep your computer keylogger-free and virus scanned.
Never give your password out to anyone.

The pumpking doesn't need a jmod. It will reach max... on its own. I cannot for the life of me manage to catch Covid. Perhaps it's because I didn't get vaxxed? The travails of those lacking immunity. :(

Unlike Easter egg (and everything else in the GE that has seen a significant price update), no pumpkins/disks/half wines have been traded (sniped) from the GE in the past 3 months. This may or may not have something to do with the price having not updated.

Edit: Didn't see the above post, which basically says the same thing.
